Living Room: Comfortable seating and a sleeper sofa for additional sleeping accommodations. Open Den: Additional lounging area featuring a futon that provides extra sleeping space for one guest. Bathroom: One full bathroom. The open den offers additional flexibility for families and groups traveling together. Please note that the den is an open space rather than a private bedroom. 🐾 Pet-Friendly Guidelines We love welcoming your four-legged family members and want everyone to have a comfortable stay! - Pet Fee: A $25/night pet fee applies per stay. All pets must be included in your reservation. - Furniture & Bedding:** Please keep pets off all beds, sofas, and other furniture to help us maintain a clean, comfortable home for future guests. - Extra Protection:** If your pets are accustomed to lounging on furniture, we recommend bringing your own protective sheets or blankets as an added precaution. Please take these home with you at checkout. - Laundry:** Please do not wash pet bedding, blankets, or other pet-related items in the home's washer. - Outdoor Safety:** Our spacious 1.5-acre property is not fenced. Please keep pets supervised and under control when outdoors. - Pet Cleanup: Please clean up after your pets and properly dispose of pet waste. 🚗 Parking & Driveway Access We offer a spacious gravel parking area with room for up to 3 vehicles, including space for boats and trailers! - Please park directly on the designated gravel parking area to the left of the main driveway. - Keep the driveway clear at all times to allow vehicles to enter and exit the property. - The owner may occasionally need access to the pole building toward the rear of the property. Please do not park in a way that blocks access. ❄️ Heating, Air Conditioning & Windows Our cottage features central heating and air conditioning to keep you comfortable throughout your stay. Some windows are awaiting replacement and currently do not have screens. To help prevent insects, pollen, and outdoor debris from entering the home, we ask that you keep the windows closed during normal use. Please also keep exterior doors closed when the heating or air conditioning is running to help maintain a comfortable indoor temperature. A Few Things to Know About Lighthouse Cottage: 🐾 Pet-Friendly: We love welcoming four-legged family members! All pets must be included in your reservation, and an additional pet fee applies. Please note that the yard is not fenced, so pets should be supervised and kept safely secured when outdoors. 🌳 Property & Outdoor Space: The cottage sits on a spacious, mostly open 1.5-acre property, offering a peaceful setting and plenty of room to enjoy the outdoors. 🏡 Additional Residence: A separate, privately occupied trailer is located toward the rear of the property and is home to a long-term tenant. The trailer is not part of the vacation rental, and we kindly ask guests to respect the resident's privacy. 🔒 Owner Storage: The pole building located toward the rear of the property is reserved for owners' storage and is not accessible to guests. 🚗 Parking: Convenient on-site parking is available, including room for boat and motorcycle trailers. Please park in the designated parking areas off the driveway and keep the driveway clear and accessible at all times. 🗑️ Trash Collection: Trash pickup is every Wednesday. The owner will bring the trash cans to the roadside on Tuesday evenings for collection. Security Camera: There is only one security camera present and only points at the exterior Pole Building.
